For the past year I have been toying with the idea of starting a blog and I felt it was time!

Why now?

Anyone who has been on my Instagram for the past year knows that I write some pretty lengthy captions. While I enjoy doing this, there's been a few issues. For starters, Instagram isn't largely used for reading paragraphs and updates. Shorter captions are the norm for the platform. With that, I noticed that a majority of my followers weren't interested in long captions. A lot of what i was writing was going unread. On the other side of this I have a lot of supporters who love to read my updates and paragraphs on how God is working in my life, but they don't have Instagram! Ultimately it just made more sense for me to start a blog.

What's the point?

Following along with my current Instagram caption: If it's not for Christ, What's the point? This blog is for Christ. Specifically, how Christ is working in my life and through those around me. You won't catch me posting smoothie recipes or writing reviews on a recent film. Instead this platform will replace the load on my Instagram and bring my captions to their proper place. Ultimately the goal is to make my writing more accessible and more informative.
