Support Raising

Support raising is genuinely amazing when you’re relying on the Kingdom.
I'm so clearly able to see Gods faithfulness through the generosity of His disciples.
By being clear and direct about my needs with missions it opens a community with my brothers and sisters in Christ.
However, support raising isn’t always easy. When Gods faithfulness is at hand the enemy is there to tempt you to think differently.
It’s taken me so long to start the process of support raising because of the battle I’ve been facing. Whenever I support raise there’s always people who don’t understand why I do it. Consistently someone will say “why don’t you just pay for it yourself?”
So as I walked into support raising for this trip I began to fear that question and how others would respond to what I’m doing.
But let’s be honest- The fear of judgement from others for support raising is my pride getting in the way of the humility that it takes to fully rely on God.
Sometimes I am tempted to keep every penny I make and pay for everything I do on my own. But that’s not inspiring independence, it’s constriction and control. Missions isn’t independent work. The call to spread the gospel to every tribe tongue and nation wasn’t intended to be done solo. Community is a beautiful gift from God.
So in reality- why don’t I just pay for it myself? Because sharing my needs and my mission with others provides deep community within my relationships and spreads the news of Gods faithfulness.
By publicly sharing my support raising journey and letting other contribute to my calling in missions work, others can see God’s faithfulness through this living testimony.
Also- when I don’t subject my entire income to my own missions, it lets me support friends who are doing missions. Being able to support others needs as they enter the field.
Speaking of which-
Here are a few friends of mine that are currently on the field/ soon to be on the field that you can be praying for and following along with:
Chloe Howard- World Race Gap Year, finishing up ministry in Romania and soon to be headed to South Africa. (Instagram @chloebeth.h)
Grace Florey- DTS Kona, finishing up her lecture phase and soon to be doing outreach in a country with a lot of islam influence (instagram @grace_florey)
Noelle Eberly- CMGlobal, soon to be headed to Columbia(Instagram @noelleeberly)
It can be daunting to face a path where I have to fully rely on God, but what’s comforting is realizing that I always have been in that state of reliance.
He has been faithful every step of the way.
So as I walk through this support raising journey, I would love for you to join me in prayer and the heart posture of Kingdom supporting Kingdom.
Let’s spread the Good News here, near, and far.
So how is support raising going?
All that being said, I've already started support raising with a bang. U sent out support letters to friends and family (if you're interested in reading that, you can do so here ) And I'm really happy to say that I'm already $475 funded!
That's great progress and actually 6% of my total needed to raise. The $8,500 will cover my tuition and my flights to and from America. That's it.
If you would like to donate, you can visit this link https://givesendgo.com/ to support me!
Thank you so much for your prayers and support,
God bless.
