If you've been around, you likely already know that I've felt called to missions since I was 15 years old. These past few years God has been faithful in leading me to spread His gospel here, near, and far.

On my trip to Papua New Guinea in September, I served on the childcare team for a Leadership Training Seminar with YWAM Port Moresby. I absolutely loved the staff and community there, they definitely showed me that YWAM has a lot to offer.
When I got home I began to look at opportunities to go serve far again, and immediately felt overwhelmed. There are so many organizations, opportunities, pressures to just go to a university, I didn't know what to do. So I prayed.
I felt a push to do a Discipleship Training School (DTS) through YWAM. I began reaching out to my YWAM friends and asking about bases that interested me. I was praying and searching for a DTS that aligned with the plans God has already made clear to me.
So where to?
In November I applied to do a "Backpacking DTS" in Whitsunday Australia, and I'm excited to finally share that I'm going! This DTS combines a love for adventure, the chance to be a witness of God's amazing creation, and evangelism to other backpackers. YWAM Whitsunday even has a small group of youths who meet at their base regularly. If you didn't know, I absolutely love working with middle school and high school aged students.

The DTS is 5 months long from October of 2023 to March of 2024. It is conducted over a 20-week period with the lectures covering around 12 weeks.
We will spend 8 to 10 weeks overseas doing cross-cultural outreach. This portion feels very familiar to me, because it's very similar to the mission trips I've been on before.
I'll need to cover tuitions for the courses, as well as fees for my travel to and from America and Australia.
How can you support me?
While I do have quite a sum of money to raise for the DTS, that isn't my primary support focus. I would like to ask you to be praying for me and my future team, there is always more to pray for than there is to pay for.
A few specific things you can be praying:
That my team and I would be able to hear God clearly, and to act on what He calls us to with courage.
That those my team and I encounter on this trip would have softened hearts to receive the Gospel.
For God's peace and presence to continue being obvious to me in this time.
If you would like to contribute to my DTS financially, I will give information on how to access my support raising page soon. As of now, thank you for reading about the exciting new adventure God is taking me on! I hope you'll join my support team and be with me in Spirit through this journey.
