Financially Funded, Spiritually Filled

If you follow along with me on Instagram or have checked in with me in these past couple of weeks, you'd already know that I hit my funding goal! I was able to purchase my ticket to Papua New Guinea for no less than $2,400! Quite the expense and while I won't go so far as to say that fundraising is a relaxing experience, I will say that it does a great deal to show the abundance of God. Through my financial supporters I feel confident in knowing that I have a team of Christ followers joining me in this trip. While my funding goal has been reached I have left my funding page open for exterior trip related costs outside of the ticket, i.e. Visa fees, supplies, money for on the field, etc.
Now, as fewer of you know, my family has taken a rather difficult loss. On May 25 of 2022 we lost our Brandy at just 24 years old. She was my brothers long term girl friend of 5 years and left behind a 6 year old girl, our Alison. This is why I have not gotten the chance to be consistent in writing and giving updates concerning me and my trip. On top of the grief that my family is bearing, my brother Daniel is facing the financial burden of this all. I have linked his Go Fund Me for this reason. Pleas be praying for him and asking the Lord whether He has placed it on you to financially support Daniel in this crisis.
Grief has not been, not will it ever be, an easy process. Especially when losing someone so young. Although, having full assurance in the Lord brings unexplainable peace to my soul. My circumstances may not be comfortable but I find the comfort I long for in my shepherd.
All to say please keep my family in your prayers as we wrestle with the loss of a dearly loved one.
Please continue to pray for my team as we apply for our visas, prepare lessons for the youth, and draw closer to the Lord.
My continual prayer is that whether here in Monroe or out in Port Moresby, let the hearts of those I meet be well prepared and let my example of Christs love be pure.
Thank you, God Bless.
